The Advance Adapters' "Atlas II" (3.8:1 Ultra low) and (4.3:1 Extreme low) gear-driven transfer case is the ultimate gearing solution for combining both on and off-road performance. With an Atlas equipped 4WD, you have the opportunity to select a sensible ring and pinion gear ratio for great street performance and strength. Combined with a low-geared crawl ratio of your choice, you now have the ultimate combination. This allows you to compete with the most well equipped off-road vehicles and cruise comfortably down the paved roads. Through considerate analysis of other successful transfer case designs, Advance Adapters has manufactured a rugged, all gear-driven transfer case.

Combining the latest in CAD/CAM technology and years of in-house CNC machining capabilities, the Atlas transfer case is sure to bring you the utmost in dependability and performance.

The Atlas is available for both left and right hand vehicle applications with centered rear differentials. The solid one-piece case design,
with structural access cover and all exterior components, is manufactured from 356-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy.

The massive gears are helical cut and synchro-equipped for quiet performance and "shift on the fly" capability. These gears are supported by needle bearing elements, precision matched to strong 8620 shafts. The ruggedly designed output shafts are amply supported by large taper roller bearings.

The Atlas also features a unique twin stick design to deliver crisp, quiet operation.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Applications with NP231 will have to lengthen the rear driveshaft and shorten the front driveshaft.

Applications with Dana 300 transfer cases and Bronco Dana 20 will have to shorten the rear driveshaft and lengthen the front driveshaft.

Most applications will require cross member modifications.
