Sometimes when doing disc brake conversions you have to pump the brakes to get them to stop.  This is because it takes more fluid and pressure to operate a brake caliber than a wheel cylinder.  This device will hold line pressure to the rear brakes to prevent pumping, but not enough pressure to make the brakes drag.
