The Revolver shackle allows maximum articulation of the Jeep® CJ (1976-1986), YJ Wrangler or XJ Cherokee (rear) suspensions.  They work with stock or after market lift leaf springs, mounted under or over the axle, with or without a shackle reversal.  The Revolver shackle has the potential for the springs to droop (extend) nearly 10 inches more then a stock type shackle!  From full compression even with negative arch to extended droop, the Revolver  shackle allows the spring eye to stay in a resting position and lets the shackle head rotate.  This translates into a more relaxed position and less fatigue, extending the life of your leaf spring.  Due to the Revolver shackle's self-supporting design, it allows the spring to start compression much easier, resulting is a softer and more comfortable ride.
