4:1 crawl'in machine. You can upgrade your existing transfer case without
having to buy a high dollar aftermarket Transfer Case. The Tera Low kit will
increase your crawl ratio by 50 percent and is easy to install. There are no
drive shaft changes, or special shift linkages required. It comes complete
with all necessary gaskets and seals. A new shift rail with increased detent
pockets is included to help with twin stick applications.

The
Advanced Adapters short shaft kit, or slip yoke eliminator,
is the only kit strong enough to work with the Low231 transfer case. The
new, heavy-duty shaft withstands the increased torque (50% increase)
generated by extreme reduction.
By increasing the rear driveshaft length by
four inches, this kit eliminates the need to lower the transfer case in
most cases. It includes a larger output bearing and rear housing.

compliment The Advance Adapters 231 Short shaft kit.
This driveline helps to reduce extreme angles common
in short wheelbase vehicles. Note: This
driveshaft is not recommended in combination with
the S4T suspension system and the Belly Up
low-profile skid plate. It will work in some
conditions, but the driveshaft angle is too severe
and may cause CV joint damage. With this
combination, we recommend lowering the transfer case
with spacers.
