Gearbox Brackets, like those found on eBay, can be made of 3/8's
thick steel.
Ours is made of 1/2 plate steel and guaranteed not to bend.
Steering Bracket The Sam's Offroad replacement
steering box bracket was designed in 1996 by our fabricator and
mechanic Mike Cox. This bracket is made out of 1/2 inch plate
steel and is a must for any CJ running 33 to 39 inch tires.
Steering Bracket for
Shackle Reversal
This bracket looks similar to the one above but moves your steering
box forward 3/4 of an inch. This will give you the added
clearance you need for your pitman arm and drag length. This is a
must if your CJ is running a shackle reversal.
Got the steering box mount today (1 day delivery), got it mounted this
evening and made about 1000% difference in the way the Jeep drives.

AGR Super Pump

The Super Pump is
designed and manufactured to produce the maximum
pressure and flow possible without affecting the pumps
durability. This pump is a must when adding Hydroboost
brakes, larger tires and lockers.

Super Box 1
- This steering box is engineered to be the ultimate in bolt-on power
steering performance for those vehicles used for more off-road than on
road driving. It gives you nimble steering with the least amount of
effort. Combined with an AGR Super Pump it will provide the
maximum available turning force in a steering box combination.
AGR Super Box 2 -
This box is nearly identical
in design to the Super Box 1, but is designed for the vehicle used as a
daily driver. The SB2 has firmer valving for better handling and
drivability at highway speeds.

Patton & Mike Cox designed and fabricated the traction bar back in 1996.
The
idea came about when we noticed spring wrap a curing on
spring over conversions we performed at our shop on CJ's and
YJ's. If you had a stock motor there really wasn't a
problem. But if
you had a V8 or some really big
aggressive tires then you were slinging out your
rear drive shaft.
This
traction bar if often copied but never duplicated. We use the
thickest material available and we've designed it so your
travel and flexibility of your rig is not hampered.

the anti-spring rap traction bar. The idea came about when we noticed spring

a spring over this is the solution to your axle wrap problems. Guaranteed!

Kit Includes: 30" Heavy Duty Traction Bar that's 1.5" OD tubing and wall
thickness is 3/8- Poly Bushings Large Currie Johnny Joint - Shackle- Shackle
Mount - Greasable Bolts - Axle Housing Mounts NOTE: If room permits we like
installing the traction bar on the driver side. Eliminates fighting motor
torque.
Most of the time you can use your existing skid plate/ cross member to
attach the shackle mount. If your rig has a long wheel base like CJ8 or Toyota pickup then check out
our cross member.
We understand that not
everyone needs our Heavy Duty Traction Bar,
so we came up with this lighter duty model.

NOTE: Welding and fabrication skills

On this model we use 1 inch
diameter DOM tubing, thickness is 0.156 of a inch, length, 30
inches. The front of the traction bar has a Johnny Joint mounted
on a shackle, then the shackle attaches to the transfer case
cross member or you can use our custom
Sam's Offroad Cross Member.
The rear mounts are
polyurethane with greasable bolts. The top mount is
adjustable and the bottom mount is fixed. Rear axle mounting
brackets are included and must be welded on.
One other thing to
remember, depending on how your exhaust is run. You might
have to modify it to clear the traction bar.
We recommend this
traction bar for light duty applications. An example would
be a rig that has 33 inch tires running a spring over
powered by a stock 6 cylinder motor. Anything more and you
will need the Sam's Offroad Heavy Duty traction bar.
